The Three Little Jayhawks

By: Don Fambrough

Illustrated by:  Larry Leroy Pearson

Don Fambrough, KU's beloved "Coach Fam", was asked to read a story to a first grade elementary school in Lawrence Kansas. He was a few sentences into one of his favorites "The Three Little Pigs", when he stopped and told the children, "We're going to change it up a little bit".

The story became The Three little Jayhawks with their long standing rival, the University of Missouri's mascot the tiger, guest starring as the Big Bad Wolf.

Note for sensitive readers: This version uses the more grim ending for the Big Bad Wolf aka MU's Tiger

Hardcover; 32 pages
