Book Buyback

Online Buyback for Spring Semester

Buyback

With in-store textbook buyback temporarily suspended, the KU Bookstore is happy to announce a “virtual buyback” program in collaboration with a vendor partner.
Please visit our Virtual Buyback page at http://ku.textbookx.com to obtain a quote on your books, set up your account, and print a shipping label.

Things to note:

• Currently, the only option to obtain buyback money is via ACH/Direct Deposit. You will be prompted to provide this information during the account setup process.

• The buyback money will be direct deposited on the 7th & 22nd of each month once the book(s) are received from the buyback agent, whether that be the KU Bookstore or another buyer from the online marketplace.

• Shipping times from student to buyback agent varies, but please allow a minimum of 5-10 days for your books to be received and confirmed. Following receipt of buyback book(s), your direct deposit will be initiated.

Buyback prices are determined by campus demand for the book next term or national demand via used book wholesalers. When the KU Bookstore needs a title for the following term, we attempt to pay a premium for it over wholesale buyback prices and online buyback prices.
