Returns & Exchanges
We hope you love your purchase, but if you don't we are happy to process a new order or issue a refund. An overview of how we handle returns and exchanges is listed below. If you have additional questions, email us at jayhawks@ku.edu.
KU Apparel and Gift may be returned in original condition with receipt. Orders not picked up before the last day to withdraw/drop without a "W" are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Fall 2024 Textbook sales are returnable in in original condition with receipt until September 16th, 2024. Purchases made after September 16th, 2024 are Final. Summer 2024 Textbooks purchases are past the return deadline of June 11th, 2024. Any items that have shrinkwrap cannot be returned once opened. Non-returnable coursepacks are not eligible for return. Tech Shop Purchases may be returned for 7 days, as long as product is unopened. All sales are final on regalia and opened software. Scrubs are non-refundable but may be exchanged for a different size. General books are returnable in original condition, with receipt, within 7 days. |
Eligible items purchased in-store and online can be returned to a KU Bookstore location for refund of the purchase amount to the original form of payment. If the refund is applied to your credit card, your credit card company may take up to 10 business days to post the refund to your account. Please bring the original receipt or email confirmation along with your return to the locations listed below.

To initiate a return, please email jayhawks@ku.edu and included your name, order number, item(s) you are returning and reason for return. Return labels will only be sent in cases of damaged or incorrect items. You may exchange eligible items by sending them to our address below. Customers will be charged a $9.99 Flat Shipping Rate when sending the exchanged item. To pay for your exchange shipping fee click HERE. Items may be exchanged in-store at any Bookstore location. You may return eligible items to our address below. Pack your return securely and include your packing slip or receipt if possible.
